We went to visit the solar farm at the Singapore Polytechnic. There was a lecture about solar energy conducted by Dr. Jiang Fang. Althought it was very long, but after the talk I learn more about solar energy and other alternative of fossil fuels. After the long lecture, it is time we finally move on to take a look at the Solar Farm which is on the roof top. It was about 1 o'clock in the afternoon and the temperature there is very hot. I touched the solar panel and I think I could cook an egg on top of it. The solar panels can convert the solar energy, which is free and natural, to electricity for us to use without causing any pollution. Lincoln Chong Weiwei(33) |
