Doing the PowerPoint slides was fun, although it was a little tiring. A few of us met up and discussed about the slides, what we need to include in our presentation. We referred to the project file that we had and knew about the outline of the slides. These are the things we need to include: present situation, desired situation, metaphors for both the situations, ideation phase, evaluation phase and a picture of our prototype with a brief explanation. We discussed, searched for information and wrote down the points we wanted to have for each of the headings.That ended our face-to-face meeting.
The next meeting was in the MSN. We started by having a member to just create the slides and type the headings. Then, he/she sent it to the next member, where he/she typed the relevant points we wrote on 4 of the slides. Then, that member sent it to the next one, which did the same thing as the previous one. Next, the PowerPoint with 8 slides was sent to a member, that inserted pictures for the metaphors and prototype. The next member received a PowerPoint presentation and typed the brief explanation of the prototype, creating the slide design and animations. The almost-done presentation was sent to every member, where we evaluated on and changed it till it passed the members' evaluation.
In conclusion, the making of our PowerPoint slides was a wonderful learning experience. We learned to solve problems arose and improvise to accommodate everyone in completing our presentation slides.
